Tuesday, January 06, 2009Opportunity does not knock twiceI was spending some quiet time in my room earlier this afternoon. It has been the longest time since I last felt His presence. Talking to Him made me feel so edified, so refreshing and I was enlightened . Just last week and today, I've received 2 emails from 2 different companies but comparing it, it doesn't really make a difference.It only matters which I choose at the end of the day and where I do feel the peace ultimately. And so , I was seeking for an answer and I received a revelation 'Opportunity does not knock twice.' It's a very common sentence and I believed everyone heard this before. I strongly believed that opportunity knocks at a time where it's the most inconvenient. It could be in the middle of your work, in the middle of something really important you have to do on that day and you just have to make the decision to go for it. And yes, it really doesn't knock twice guys. Once it's gone, it really slips through the hands just like that. As I was contemplating on whether to just go for one or both, a voice telling me that opportunity doesnt knock twice. Just try for both! there's no harm in it. See what their benefits are, how well they are paying and consider after that,anyway i'm still serving my bond till April. I'm going to have the dareness to try out. She's getting her posted timey on 10:16 AM Updates for the whole week . was down with a slight fever and sore throat today. Though i'm feeling terrible, but I am able to rejoice as I'm glad I went for cell group and was enlightened. Supposed to be in bed by now, but I do not want to waste away precious time sleeping . so yah ... Just wanna share something regarding healthy relationships/ the values of friendship. Healthy relationships takes vulnerability-open and accountability to one another. Effort -time and willingness A lot of forgiveness -Love and kind. Honesty -open to one another. Energy -Being pro active. Friendship is 2 people participating together. It's not easy building friendships. It requires alot of time and energy. Friendship is a beautiful gift from God . He gave us the freedom to choose our friends and if chosen the right one, God will bless this relationship. Going to chongqing tomorrow and I just checked the temperature . It's 7 degrees celsius over there. Freezing cold but should be pretty interesting. Yeah, so kudos. i'm going to bed now. She's getting her posted timey on 12:00 AM
Tuesday, February 19, 2008This will be a short post...I was on check to see how's my performance recently and I was pretty nervous and excited about it actually. One of the criterias is to have good grooming throughout and to know my work and concoctions well . I will have another check tomorrow and I pray hard it will turn out good. Luckily for me,I have a wonderful mentor who always sees the best in me and ever so forgiving. It's Tuesday again and I'm going to visit my grandmother. It's been like a year since I last visited her and I really missed her. Chill out. She's getting her posted timey on 8:09 AM
Monday, February 11, 2008Chinese New Year is officially over for me and I enjoyed this year's visitation. If you're close to me, you should know why:)Anyway, this year there's a new addition in our family. My little niece ranked the number 7 in the grandchildren's list. She kept smiling at me and all the relatives said that she's in love with me.haha I'm very amazed at my grandmom and granddad . At the age of 65 yrs old, they are still so strong and free of sickness and illness.
I'm pretty worn out by the flight today and I think I need to go to bed soon. Tmrw's another day of flying! ciao!
